Exterior Wall Coating Application

1. Powerwashing

Water containing strong fungicides is applied by pressure spray onto the exterior walls. Years of soot, mould, algae and loosely adhered paints are removed by this process, thus making any damaged exterior render or brickwork apparent.

2. Exterior Wall Repair and Restoration

The next stage is to repair all damaged exterior wall surfaces. Cracks are ground out and filled with a polymer modified cement to ensure a perfect bond. Areas of loose render/pebbledash are removed and replaced. Spalled brick faces are re-instated. Great care is taken to achieve an invisible repair. Cheshire Weatherproof Wall Coatings

3. Masking and Priming

Once cracks to the exterior render and other similar surfaces are repaired, all doors, windows, paths and surrounding areas are masked with tape and heavy duty paper. Great care is taken to protect plants, bushes and lawns. A high penetrating stabilizer/primer is then applied, providing a sound surface for application of top coat.

4. Final Application

Applied by high pressure spray equipment, the top coat is sprayed onto the surface at up to 100 lbs p/s/i. Our wall coatings are approximately 20 times thicker than conventional paint and the textured wall finish will help to conceal any repair work that has been undertaken.
